NARROW ESCAPE
(By TtUcraph—Pr«M ▲Moeiatioa) HASTINGS, This Day. Robert Sowersby, a well-known resident, had a narrow escape from a fatal accident at a railway crossing to-day. He was driving his car to the crossing at the same time as a goods train was arriving at the station, and ran into the third waggon behind the engine. Sowers-by escaped unhurt, but the car was extensively damaged.
