BOY THRASHED
DEATH FROM INJURIES (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, lCth July. Herbert Rounds, a middle-aged labourer was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for manslaughter. The evidence was that he beat a boy named Foster so severely with the. buckle end of a strap that the boy died. The boy's offence was stealing jam.
