Mrs Pitt-Rivers was granted a'decree nisi and custody of the children, with costs, against Captain Pitt-Rivers. Petitioner declared that her husband encouraged immoral ideas, particularly polygamy. Ho also abandoned the church. She said : "Our marriage has never been happy." Petitioner also alleged that Pitt-Riv-ers had repeated misconduct since 1926. ■ (Received 16th July, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, 15th July. Mrs Pitt-Rivers is a daughter of Lord Fiovster, former Governor-General of Australia. Petitioner gave evidence that her husband repudiated the church marriage ceremony entirely. Lie had a curious idea concerning living a chaste life.
