NORTH CAPE MINE

INFLOW OF WATER It is understood that the Hon. H. Almore and Mr*G. C. Black, M.P.. have made urgent representations to the Prime Minister for a Government advance to ro-cstablish the North Capo mine, as 44 men with families arc out of work. Following the earthquake considerable trouble was experienced through water entering the mine, tho pumps being unable to cope with the inflow.
