THE CHURCHES

In Trinity Presbyterian Church tomorrow, the Rev. .1 .McNeill will conduct the services, and preach at 11 a.m. on “Our Father,” and at 6.30 p.m. on “The Fall.” The sen-ice at Ihhuna will be conducted by the Rev. J. MoNeill. The choir will render at. tha evening sendee the* anthem, “Seek ye the Lord.” Soloist, Mr Dalglish. The Rev. J. Laird will conduct tha services in the Baptist Church to-mor-row. The theme at the morning service will he “The Believer possessor of the Divine Nature,” and at the evening service “Weighed and Wanting.”’ The annual self-denial gifts For missions received at both services.

At St. John’s Methodist Church the Rev. 11. L. Blamires will preach on • iho Larger Hope” at the morning service. For the evening a people’s musical service is advertised with anthems, mission hymns, etc. Special “Mother Day” services will bo conducted at the Church of Christ, Waimea Street, to-morrow.- Special singing and special messages will be given. The children will take part. All parents invited to honour “Mother.’* A special day of interest will be observed at the Waimea Street Citadel tomorrow. “Mothers’ Day” which is looked forward to with interest, will be the prominent feature. The children will take a. leading part, and will present, a white flower to mother or guarddan.. Mrs Ma jor Sansoni will address the morning gathering and the Major will speak at* night. A family gathering will he conducted on Monday night at I 8 o'clock.
