BUDGET INTRODUCED

In introducing the North Ireland Budget Treasurer Pollock said that apart from the obligations the two great, burdens of unemployment, insurance and special constabulary which were in a process of solution, "the general finances of the province were perfectly sound. They had given nineteen and a half millions to the Imperial Exchequer since 1921 and estimated the revenue during the coming year av eleven millions and the expenditure as eight millions. Imperial contributions would come front the balance.
