In the Supreme Court Alexander Forsyth Couldshiiry, on carnal knowledge of a girl under 16, was sentenced to 5 years ’hard labour. Mr .Justice Sim disregarded the jury's recommendation to clemency owing to the girl yielding readily, staling that accused was 38 years old, and married ami the girl was practically entrusted to his care by her parents.
