LONDON, May 6.
Sir Frederick and Lady Chapman arrived. Sir Frederick Chapman, in an interview, said that as he visited France during the Eranco-Prussian war he was interested to discover the result of the restoration of Alsace- Lorraine, lie enquired closely among all classes. Except for minor differences in religious and educational affairs the inhabitants were absolutely reunited to France and did not. desire to see a German official or soldier qgain. It is also obvious that the Germans did not- desire to recover Alsace-Lorraine, although' they desired to readjust the eastern boundary. SYDNEY, This Day.
