HEAVY LOSSES SUFFERED. (Austra<nan and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Rec. Sept. 20, 1L.15 a.m.) LO'NDO'N, Sept. 19. A [Russian communique says : —We repulsed an attack in the region of D'ubno. Stubborn battles continue on the river Naraiuvka, We repelled all attacks 1 with heavy losses. We carried several Carpathian height in the regions of Shibeni and iPneva Mountain. A fog has enveloped the mountain and' snow is falling. GERMAN iCOMMUNIO/JE'. (Rec. Sept. 20, 11.15 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Sept. 19. A German comanunique says:—ißernhardi's troops stormed' the fortified: Russian "bridgehead an the StokhoJT, north of Zarecze, taking prisoner 2540. 'Our counter-attack at Earajowka further succeeded aad the -prisoners are now 4200. There was lively fighting in the Carpathians from Smotreei to Kirlibaba.
