THE LATEST REPORT

A further statement regarding the (health of the men in camp was made by Surgeon-General Henderson, Direct orGeneral of Medical Services, yesterday. General Henderson stated that the report from Trenitham was satisfactory. The two cases of cerebro-spinal meninfitis wero still on the serious list, but oth were steadily improving. There had been two cases of pneumonia admitted recently, c<ne complicated; by measles, from the 19th Reinforcements, and one of simple pneumonia from the 20th Reinforcements. The 17th Infantry, since their arrival at Featherston, had only 'had two admissions for sickness into "hospital, both being of a very mild class-. The health of the camp generally was good. General Henderson added that there had been no fresh cases of c.s.m. in either camip.
