LOCAL OPTION POLL PETITIONS.
THE OHINEMURI INQUIRY. [United Pbess Association.] WAIHI, Sunday. The taking of the evidence for the respondpnts in connection with the inquiry concerning the petition to upset tho result of the Ohinemuri local option poll was continued all yesterday. About 15 witnesses were examined. The evidence tendered went to show that no overcrowding of the booths took place, and that the socresy of the ballot had been observed throughout ths poll. The Court resumes on Monday morning.
