CHARGES OF SHEEP STEALING.

[United Press Association.] PALMERSON N., Saturday. Herbert Bergstrom, on remand, on a charge of stealing 202 sheep, was brought before the Court this morning and further remanded till Monday week. Bail was fixed at £200 and two sureties of £100 each. The cheep *o!<i allegedly have been traced by Constable Tanner and Detective Qmrke to the Balfour Estate, Pahiatua. They were identified by the manager of the estate for whom the accused worked for 12 months. The police stated that Qther charges would probably be laid against the accused.
