Is it too much to hope that 4 his should now be dona? The working man's wife wants to buy fruit, fish, poultry, or vegetables. She makes a weary trip to town, only to find the shops empty of what she wante, or the prices, as she thinks, too hieh, ana returns home tired, disappointed and disgusted. At the same time there ade dozens of small growers who, unable at times to dispose of their goods to the shops at a profit, or sometimes i even at an, have given up trying, and let their stuff rot on the ground, or give up raising it. May we hope thai something will be done to bring the small buyer and the settler together for the good of both?
