CONTEMPT OF COURT.
A BRITISH M.P. FINED. (Pbess Association.— Copybiqht.) (Receved Jan. 27, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. Mr H. Nield, Conservative M.P. for Ealing, has been fined £100 and costs for contempt of Court by commenting in an after-dinner speech ou the strangeness of Horatio Bottomley's prosecution synchronizing witn him voting againt the Licensing B'l! in the House of Commons. (Horatio Bottomley, Liberal M.P. for South Hackney, a prominent figurein adventurous finance in London, is at present under prosecution in . connection with some of bis past and present financial dealings.)
