I regret that I shall not be able to meet you for some time, as I am now on my way to begin my official inspection of the railways in (lie North, and shall not return to Wellington lor about three weeks. As far as I ran sav, I shall be in Wellington on or about 17th February, and if I can manage it will try and arrange for your .deputation on that date. I will let you know later on as soon as I can say definitely what- day I shall be in Wellington, as I shall be leaving immediately afterwards for the South Island. Kind regards. J. A.
