Mklhouejje, Thursday. Oats are quoted to-day at 3s 6d per bushel. Mr David Gaunson, the late member for Ararat, has issued a writ against the " Federal Australian," for libel. Tho damages are laid at £5000. Brisbane, Friday. The estimates of the revenue and expenditure of thia colony for the present year give the revenue at £1,900,000, and the expenditure, including iutereet on loans, at £1,835,000.
