Wheat. — Grot to prime milting samples are readily saleable at from 3s lod to 4s per bnshel delivered in Christchurch ; second class samples, 3s 3d to .3s 9d per bushel ; chick wheat, 2s Cd to 3s per bushel delivered in Christchurch. Oats. — The market during the week has teen quiet, and prices, though without alteration, are firm. Best nulling samples arcworth from 2s 3d to 2s 4d per bushel delivered f.o.b. ; feed finality la 10d to 2s delivered in Christchurch. Barley. — The state of the market this week is precisely similar to last. Prime malting quality is in good demand, and is saleable from 3s to :Ss Gd delivered in Christchurch ; second rate to medium samples, 2s Id to 2s 9d ; feed quality. Is 9d to 2s per bu.-liel delivered in Christchurch. Potatoes. — Toe market during the werk Las been unusually dull, and prices appear to have a downward tendency ; but, in the absence of sales, it is difficult to give exact quotations — 35s to 403 per ton at suburban stations is the nearest approximate.
