ANOTHER CASE OF SMALL POX IN SYDNEY. Sydney, Friday. The Union Company's steamship fcotocnahana sailed yesterday afternoon for New Zealand via Newcastle. The captain declined to take cilher passengers or cargo; from this port. No fresh cases of small pox are reported to tbe authorities. Kerosene, diamond, Is B£d • per gallon; Devoe's, 2a \i; Patna rice, £2 12a 6d per ton; sugar. Company's No. 1 pieces, £36 per ton; New Zealand wheat, 5s 2d per bushel; New Zealand oats, 2s 9d per bushel; maize, 2b 8d per 60lbs; tobacco, Kaveu's twist, Is 5d per Ib. Saturday. A fresh case of small pox is reported this morning. It lias occurred at a house in Surrey Hills in which the carpenter who died on the 17th instant was attacked, and which has been kept in quarantine. The carpenter's child, who is confined with thirteen others in the house, has now sickened with tbe disease. A meeting of the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia was held here last night to receive the report of the directors. Upon investigation recently made into the financial position of the Association the report was unanimously adopted, and the sum of £20,000 was fiet apart to be divided as bonuses among members.
