MBLriotrRNK, Thursday. Arrived—Albion from the Bluff.
In the Legislative Council to-day the Reform Bill, as amended by the Assembly came up for discussion, and although no deciaion was come to the tone of the debate shows that the majority of the members are determined to insist upon the amendments to the measure previously passed in the Council.
Friday. The Royal Princes will leave the I*. and O. Company's Cathay at Adelaide and take a short stay in that city before coming on to Melbourne*
In the Legislative Council last night, after further debate, the various amendments to the Reform Bill made by the Aaiembly were rejected without a discussion, and the House then adjourned to Wednesday next. It is generally expected that in view of the action of the Council tbe Government will abandon theßafcrm Bill, A caucus of Ministerialists will be held on Tuesday next to take the present position of affairs into consideration and decide upon a course of .action.
Albany, Thursday. The P. and 0. steamship Cathay, with the inward Suez mail dated London, May 6, arrived in King George's Sou ad to-day. Their Royal Highnesses Princes Albert Victor and George of Wales are passengers by the P and 0 Company's t teamship Calbay, which left here today for Melbourne.
