He had seen the plaintiff working at it for twelve^nours a day. — Cross-examined ; Pankhurst told me he ' had taken the job for £4, but that the corner r was not included. The job ; being somewhat more difficult than was at first thought he said he would give him another pound, He said he wanted. 30s. ■Mrs Best said plaintiff came one day when t they were milking and asked if they were going to give the job and she said yes, when he said he would do it for £3 10b. using insulting behavior towards William Astle with intent to provoke a breach of thepeace. Mr Bunny appeared for the complainant, and Mr Pitt for the defendants. Complainant Btated that on Thursday evening he was in the act of removing, and on his way to Tasman-street, where he used to livo, be saw a number of boys on the Brook-street bridge. He then hoard some bojs come along with tins in their hands. He took no notice, but when he got into the house a shower of stones fell on the roof. He went out, and saw the accused together with a lot of other boys. This sort of thing went on for ten minutes, and then he went to the Police Station and complained. The hearing of the case occupied until after 4 o'clock, when the information was dismissed with costs £2.
