Passengers: Misses Siddels (2), Amyes,Mrs Amyes, Mr and Mrs Skouier, Messrs Fox, Oliver, Gavitb, Leitch, Aruutie, M'Dowell, Blundell, and 4 in steers ge. — ketch Prospect, 21, Westrupp, from Motupipi. — cutter Maid of Italy, 15, Clarke, from Eiwaka. — cutter Planet, 12, Thorne, from Motueka. SAILED. May 3, cutter Wave, 10, Ricketta, for Torrent Bay. . 4, steamer Wanaka, 276, M'Gillivray, for Picton, Wellington, and South. Passengers: Misses Lines, Haldane, Mrs Kaye. Messrs Buxton, M'Gee, Waite, Masters, Katterns, Gorman, Jones, and M'Dowell. — schooner Sisters, 15, Frazer, for Havelock. The Murray wag detained at Wanganui laßt night by heavy weather, but left for Nelßou at noon to-day. The Kennedy leaves Greymouth for NelBon direct to-day. The Wallace sails from Greymouth to-day for Weetport and Nelson. The schooner May is announced to sail for Havelock to-morrow night. The next Bteamer for Melbourne will be the Ringarooma, which leaves Wellington on Monday. Passengers proceed to her by the Penguin to morrow night. The Penguin, with the Southern portion of the inward San Francisco mail; left Orichunga at noon to-day, will arrive here tomorrow night, and sail by the same tide at midnight for Picton, Wellington, aud Lyttelton.
The Hawea leaves Wellington to-morrow afternoon, will arrive here on Friday morning, and sail by the same tide at 2 p.m. for Taianaki and Manukau.
Tha Wanaka left Wellington at 630 a m. yesterday, and reached Picton at 40 minutes paßt noon; sailed at 11 p.m.) after BhippiDg a large quantity of cargo for the South, and arrived here at 930 am. to-day. A strong S.W. gale with heavy sea was experienced while crossing the the Straits. After landing and shipping a large batch of cargo she sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton by the same tide at noon. The Charles Edward left Nelson on Wednesday at 3 p.m., and arrived at Westport at 10 a.m. on Thursday } proceeded on at 2 a.m. on Friday, and arrived at Hokitika at noon same day ; left at 9-30 a.m. on Saturday, arriving at Grey mouth by the same tide at 1130 a.m.; landed cargo and took on board n fall cargo of coal and 3 horses, and departed on Monday at 1 p.m., arriving at Westport at 930 p.m. same day; pushed on again at midsight, and arrived here at 10 o'clock last night,. Experienced moderate head winds with fine weather throughout the trip. Passed the steamer Beautiful Star, bound for Westport, at 2 a.m. yesterday. The Charles Edward sailed again for West Coast ports at 3 p.m. to-day.
