Calcutta, November 6. There is nothing fresh from Cahul. Capetown, November 6. The lateßt intelligence from Easutoland reports continuous fighting with the enemy. The Cape Rifles under Colonel Clark have stormed the Moletbanese stronghold, and driven the enemy from their positions. The ■j Basutos, however, iu overwhelming numbers have recaptured Letherodi'B village, which was recently taken hy Capiain Carrington. The Colonials, notwithstanding '.the strength of the 7 enemy, retired from the village in good order.
London, November 6. The Board of Trade returns of imports for the paet month amount to £27,437,500, being a decrease of £4,875,000 compared with last year. The exports for the same period amounted to £18,687,500, being an increase of £1,000,000 compared with last year. Large withdrawals of gold from the Bank of England are being made for North America.
