Auckland, and tbe third £208 was secured by an Auckland gentleman. . - ... ■--■'••"■ Gbbttown, Wednesday. Hararaerich's Rising Sun Hotel was destroyed by fire at 2.30 this morniog. The inmates had a narrow escape, some, baying tp escape: by sliding down the Terandah"ppsis. The hotel, stables, and out houses were completely destroyed. It is not known how the fire originated. The insurances were :— - North British and Mercantile, £ l OOOVUnited, £500; Imperial, £500; Union, £950; and Colonial £250.
