Sydney, Monday. Latest advices from Hong Kong states that the steamer Brisbane had to put back, having damaged her steering gear in a heavy gale. Her boats were washed overboard and her decks were completely swept. Ifc is further stated that the necessary repairs will occupy five days. Melbourne, Monday. The trial of Ned Kelly is postponed to the 28th instant. Tuesday. Mauritius advices to the Gth instant give favorable accounts of the sugar crop, which ia improved by the favorable weather. Freights to New Zealand 32a Cd, with but little enquiry.
