Latest news from Afghanistan states that Ayoub Khan has crossed the river Helmund, and it is expected that 4,000 horsemen will join Ms advance guard. His cavalry has approached close to the British camp at Girishk, whither troops were despatched to support Shere AH, the Ruler of Candahar.
