Melbottrne, Tuesday. Government have accepted the tender of the Phcenix Company of Ballarafc for the construction of twenty railway locomotives at a cost of £50,400. Wednesday. Mr Leyier, member for Barwon, has given notice in the Legislative Assembly for the introduction of a Bill for reducing the . salaries of Ministers by one-third.
