The Porte, in replying to the circular note of the European Powers embodying the decisions of.the Berlin Conference on the Montenegrin and Greek question, proposes that Turkey should be allowed to retain Laitissa, Jauita, and Metzovo, which the Conference decided should be iucluded in the district to the south of those towns to be ceded by the Treaty for the rectification of the Greek frontier.
