STRANDING OF THE MAID OF ITALY.
This cutler, which left here for Rivvaka ' yesterday, got ashore near Motueka during the bad weather last night, but we are glad to learn that hopes are entertained of her getting off uninjured. The following tel - gram was received from Motueka this morning by Capl; vu Cross :— " Maid of Itafy dragged her p.icbors and Blipped them in the break, and now lies end on to the sea on the beach, a mile north of Motueka entrance. Probably get off without damage first fine weather"
