Sydney, Monday. The Associated Miners at Newcastle unanimously declined to accept the terms oifered by the masters, and hare now struck. It is not likely that the non associated Miners will follow the example of the associated men. Melbourne, Tuesday. The Colonial Bank of Australasia declared a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent per annum. Measles are spreading very seriously in Melbourne. The Banks have reduced their rates for the trade discounts. There is little demand for milling oats.
