London, April 16. News from Capetown announces the arrival of the Empress Eugenic there. : April 17. Tho total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 1,910,000 quarters. Adelaide wheat declined one shilling, and to day is quoted at 579 per 4961bs ex warehouse ; Adelaide flour also declined one shilling, and is^now quoted at 40s 6d per 28Olba ex warehouse. The market for Adelaide wheat and flour is dull. Australian tallow advanced sixpence per cwt, best beef being worth 32s 6d, and best mutton 34s 6d. New Zealand wheat is quoted at 46s to 47s 6d per 4961bs ex warehouse. The death of Dr. Kenealey, M.P. for Stoke, is announced to-day. Subscriptions have been opened for the balance of the Oamaru Water Works Loan, to the amount ot £89,000.' Suez, April 16. The Orient Company's steamship Garonne, homeward bound, arrived here. The Australian cricketers are passengers. Berlin, April 16. A Bill, introduced by the Minister of War on the 22nd January, for increasing the German army by 60 000 men, has been passed.
