Time, 2mins 17|secs. There were £180 in the totalisator, and fifty-two investors on the winner. Flyin. Stakes, of 3 soys, with 50 soys added; six furlongs. Won by Mata. Le Loup also started. Betrayer, Sir Modred, Hilarious, The Governor, Foul Play, aud On Dit were scratched. Betting— 3 to 1 on Mata. Mata had the best of the start, but Le Loup came up at the first turn, and the former also had a slight lead when turning into the straight. Both horses ran neck and neck until within twenty yards of the winning post, when Mata forged ahead, aud landed a wiuner by half a neck, Time, Imin 14Jsecs. Consolation. Race. Luna won. Two others started.
