Sydney, Tuesday. A man named. Coulthard, aged 23, has surrendered himself to the police at Yass, statiDg that in January, LB7B, while he was " a chemist in Verton in England he poisoned his wife with prussic acid, and then weighted the body and threw it into the Mersey. He shortly afterwards emigrated to Australia, and now asserts that he is wretched and sees a vision of his wife nightly. Arrived — Arawata^roni Auckland. Melbourne, Tuesday. The date on which the adjournment and dissolution of the Afseinbly will take place is still uncertain owing to the slow progress ■which is being made with the consideration ■ of the Estimates. <
