Heavy floods are reported at Norton and Oaks. Melbourne, Wednesday. A copious rainfall has taken place through- | out Victoria. Sailed— Arawata, for New Zealand, with 1 the Suez mail. Tqe departures from London between the Hth and 29ch August were Hermione and Loch Fleet for Port Chalmers; Hurunui aud Lady Jocelyn for Lyttelton; Feruglen and Adamant for Auckland; Opawa for Wellington.
