Sir, — We, the boys of Nelson College, of which institution, it is well known yoq were once heftd boy, have watched with keen interest the late political orisis. It was with no small feeling of pride that we witnessed the retnrn for the second, time of one who, when at Nelson College, distinguished himself as its lecder. We almost feel it as our due that to commemorate this event we shoald have a longer vacation than usual at Michaelmas. We now beg to. petition you to ask our Principal for this extra holiday, •• we feef tbat i{ asked by yon, it oannot be refused.
