CORRESPONDENCE.
To tub Editor of the 'Evening Mah..» Sir — May I beg permission to insert a line in your paper to correct a misapprehension that is likely to arise from your correspondent's letter from Dovedale of last evening. The paragraph reads as though nothing whatever had been done for the spiritual welfare of this district. So far from this, a neat and commodious (Wesleyan) Church has been built and paid for by the settlers, where divine service has been regularly held for aome two or three years past. There is also a flourishing Sunday School, meeting in the school house, well attended and efficiently taught.— l am, &c, Eainsfoud Bavin. September 5, 1879. :
