The statement of the appointment of Sir Joseph G. L. Innes as Attorney-General wae premature, and the office is not vet filled. At a meeting of aquatics last night it was resolved to accept Hanlon's challenge to row Trickett for £200, but the meeting refused to guarantee Hanlon's expenses. Brisbane, Tuesday. The Leader of the Opposition bas given notice of motion condemning the public works policy of the Government.
