Queen Victoria may be held personally liable for a share of the losses by the Glasgow Bank failure. A woman died recently in England who held a good deal of stock. Having no heirs, her property went to the Crown, and now the Bank's lawyers hold that the Queen is personally liable, so far as that stock is concerned,
