f Reuteu's Telegrams per Press Aoescy.] London, February 26. An English and a French frigate have gone to Alexandra to watch events iv Egypt. The first call of the City of Glasgow Bank yielded two millions. The estimated liabilities have been reduced and the assets increased, and a full payment of the Bank's debts is expected to be made. The Freuch Prince Imperial is going to Natal to witness the campaign agaiust the Zulus. The Times, in a leading article to-day, announces that it has reason to believe that the colonists in South Africa will adopt the system of Federal Government. Mr Berry interviewed privately the Secretary of State for the Colonies, and urged the necessity of Imperial legislation or other intervention in the difficulty between the two branches of the Victorian Legislature. Mr Berry regarded the result of the interview as satisfactory, and will hold another in a few days. He handed the Secretary of State the reply to his despatch of October last .regarding Victorian affairs. The British Government has asked the House of Commons for the extraordinary credit of a million and a half for the expenses of the Zulu war.
