Sydket, Wednesday. The leading Chinese merchants here have interviewed the Premier and offered to cooperate with the police in suppressing vice and immorality among the lower Chinese classes.
A despatch from St. Petersburg states that Russia is unable to complete arrangements for sending exhibits to Sydney. Financial embarrassment also prevents the Spanish colonies taking part iv the Exhibition.
