PROROGATION OF PARLIAMENT.
Wellington, Saturday. The House met at noon. The Speaker read the schedule of the business during the session, after which the Members repaired to the Legislative Council, where the Parliament was formally prorogued by Commission to tlis J4fcb January
next. The Commission consisted of the Hon. Major Richmond, Sir 1). Bell, and the Hon. Col. Whitmore. Twenty-three rriembers of the House of Representatives rtere present.
