Armed resistance to the Austrians is increasing. Seven men were lost by ambuscade at Manglake. The Australians played against twenty-two of Boston. The first innings of Boston closed for 77. Spofforth tcok 12 wickets for 28. Of the Australians eight are out for 72. A. Bannerman not out 29. The attendance at the match is only moderate.
