The following information with regard to Art Unions has been forwarded to us by Mr Stanton:— ln the Art Uniou of London there were several valuable drawings for New Zealand. In the Corio Art Union Nelson residents secured three prizes. The list for the Ballarat Gallery Art Union is still open. Tickets for the City of London and National Art Unions will be received by Mr Stanton by the next mail.
The Ringarooma this morning took away a large quantity of ferns for Australia. They comprised all kinds, from the giant tree to the more diminutive kinds in pots, and were selected chiefly from Collingwood. The trade must be a profitable one, for on her last trip the Ringarooma took to Melbourne a similar quantity, aud next week another shipmeut will be despatched.
