CORRESPONDENCE.

To the Editor of the < Evening Mail.'. Sir,— lt is currently repotted here that Mr Richards, (late master of St. Mary's school,) was offered lltemporary appointment to the Heudorf school until they could procure a master for that school. Why not have sent, him to Wakefield ? We should have been glad to make his acquaintance, and it would have saved a good deal of trouble, and things would have worked smoothly. Several of the late committee would not consent to stand again, because they thought the Central Board would deprive them of all power over the teachers, and it appears they were right. 1 am, &c, One of the late Committee. Wakefield, July 20th, 1878.
