The Murray left for Opunake and New Plymouth this afternoon. The Kennedy leaves Greyraouth for Westport and Nelson this afternoon. The Maori leaves Lyttelton this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow afternoon, and sail for West Coast ports immediately after arrival. The Wellington left Wellington at 1 p.m. to-day, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and return to Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 2 p.m. She has on board the San Francisco mail. The long expected Ocean Bird arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, having. been detained for some time at the French Pass through meeting with adverse winds. The hulk Hera hauled alongside the Kvik this morning. She will take 200 tons of coal from her, after which the barque will haul alongside the Albion Wharf. The schooner Mary Ogilvie arrived in harbor yesterday morning, after a fair passage from Oamaru. She brings a cargo of breadstnffs, and commenced discharging at the Commercial Wharf this morning. . . The steamer that hag. lately '. been ' bailfc at the Anchor Foundry was put into the water on Saturday, and taken alongside the Albion Wharf, where the boiler wsb placed in her this afternoon. She will be named the Pelorus, after the Sound where her operations are to be confined. The Colonial Government steamer Hinemoa arrived from Wellington at 1 30 p m yesterday. She left there at 8 p.m on Saturday, and at midnight experienced a strong wind irom the N.W.-with thunder and lightning and heavy rain. The night was as dark as pitch, and the steamer was hove to until 4 a.m., when the weather cleared up. Cable Bay was reached at 9 a.m., and a boat was lowered for the purpose of landing a party of telegraph officials. After an inspection of the station the party returned to the steamer at noon, when the anchor was hove up, and she came on to Nelson, arriving here as above. The Hinemoa returned to Wellington at two o'clock this morning. Messrs MTUeckan, Blackwood & Co 's s s Ringarooma, Captain Clarke, arrived in harbor at two o'clock this morning. She left Melbourne on the 27th ultimo, and after a fine weather passage reached the Bluff at noon on Tuesday last. In consequence of having a large cargo to discharge B he was unable to leave until Wednesday afternoon Port Chalmers was reached on the following morning, and the afternoon of the same day saw her on the way to Lyttelton, where she arrived on Friday morning; sailed the same day, and arrived at Wellington on Saturday morning; left shortly after noon yesterday and arrived here as above, having come under easy steam the whole of the passage across the Straits. Fine weather marked the run up the New Zealand Coast. The Riugarodma returned to Melbourne via Wellingtoa and South this afternoon.
