LOSS OF LIFE. This vessel arrived at the outer anchorage this "morning, after a passage of 108 days ftom London. We are indebted to Captain Pottmger for the following report-— Left London on March 13, and experienced fine weather to the N.E. On May 2 experienced a fierce gale from the S.E., which lasted 60 hours, during which the vessel labored heavily, the sea making clean breaches over her. Passed Tristan d'Acunha on May 10, and crossed the mendian of Greenwich in lat 41 Souththence had moderate winds to the meridian of the Cape, when strong N.W. gales were met with. On May 30, in lat. 45 deg 7 min *h-,¥ ? e J 53 min sE.,an apprentice named Alfred Walley fell from the jibboom into the water. He passed underneath the vessel, and a life buoy was thrown over the stern, hut nothing was seen of the poor SL n onth , e day a heavy sea toppled over the stern, smashing the wheel ■.a atoms and carrying away the binnacle and after compass, besids flooding the cabin with water. Sighted Tasmania on June 20, from which place experienced heavy S.W. gales nntil arrival here as above. The Kentish iar will be towed into harbor hr the Wallace on Monday morning.
