Judgment for amount claimed to be paid in monthly instalments of £4, and costs £5. , v ".' : ',' r:\ W. C. Harley v. Stenart ,'(of VVestport^-r-Action to recover £73 18s 10d, beingamount due on dishonored promissory note and interest, aud for 74 bushels of malt supplied. Mr Pitt appeared for the plaintiff. Defendant did not appear Judgment for amount claimed and costs £5 2s. Henry Wendlehoni, juvior, v. John Kerr.— Action to recover £37 14s balance of amount alleged to be due for wages, &c. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff, and Air Acton Adams for the defendant. Before entering j upon the case, His Worship suggested that I ifc would be better to refer- the. matter to arbitration, and it was agreed to do so, the decision of the arbitrator to be made an order of the Court. Williams v. Maxwell Buty.— Action to rer cover £45 18s lod, being the amount of a bill which had been endorsed by Dr. Williams for the plaintiff, but on being preseuted at home had been dishonored. Mr Pitt appeared for the plaintiff. The defendant aid not appear. Judgment for amount claimed and costs £5 2s. Castle v. Wtbhg. — Action to recover £25, being six months rentof section 19, Waimea East. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Percy Adams for the defendant. Plaintiff was non-suited with costs.
