It is refreshing to Qnd Ladiea and Gentlemen who, ia gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing tho fact, or writing to ih'ir friends, telling them aboui the SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the sfirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how theie agonies may be appeased and their sufferings alleviated. Already a long list of names have been enrolli d, and it is my desire that all who have been cured sbouli send me their address, not for publication, but as a satisiaciion to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oila. I ihink there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration alter reading tha testimonials published, atd those now appearing, to cay that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, plinlessly, and pleasantly cured so many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine tts incurable ; and it cannot now be Slid that profes'ional men bave been, dis'tancel by ordinary mcrtala. I glory in the fact that I belong,' by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things readers it necessary that I should adopt a aystem of action at variance wit>i professional etiouette for the sale of my gooda. ' lt ; ip, however, a great satisfaction to me that grandest cures which could.be accomplished anywhere have teen done in the very city and country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed tb the use ofthe Scottish Oil, we shall see hundreds and thousands of sufieriog humanity rejoice again in tbe vig. r and strength ot regenerated coHatitutioni. , Bere follows the most extraordinary list of cures ever, presented to tbe inhabitants of these colonies: — FfJBTEBN YFABB A MA.BTYB TO HeADACHB. July 11,1877. Dear Sir,— -It ia impossible for any one lo express hia heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now er joy from a terrible, affliction, under which 1 existed for years. I can hardly now think of ii but with horror. It mud't be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and puinlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends, James Goodwin. j£6o Spent, bot got No Relief. Testimontal. — Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost me over £60 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you i<re agent, and have much pleasure in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can safely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— Johh Mtjdie, Bombala. Lumbago for 26 Yeabs. l Rylstone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & M'l^ulloch, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Potties Scottish Highland Oil, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have, suffered for the past 26 years, being at times scarcely able to .crawl, owing to the severity of the complaint. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you wili give publicity to tbe above, and remain youra very truly,— John McNeii. Beaton. 102, LiverpDol-street, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l was laid up for many long months in bed, and had tried all the doctors could do for me, but got only wor^e. At last a man culled with a little of Scottish Oil. I was ihen in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I Baw no h«pe for He; tut the first bottle of your OiL brought relief, and I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oil.-, and hot iron, and in two months got the ase of my limbs. I can nevtr expect to be perfectly, well, for I am an eld man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oi'.— Akch MMilvowkt. Newtown, Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, tbe tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. From Stdnet Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has come under my notice ia Araluen. A miner in this locality named : Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on his breaßt, which defied the medical skill of the dittrlct. Dr Llewellyn, residing in Braidwood, ai'ter vainly experimenting with divers panaceas. &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary. After some time hei did as he was counselled, but what was the! result ? ' "Why, after remaining in the .hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, be was pronounced, incnrablb. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, 1 supposa to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ; ago Mr Carry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of theße discharges a bone came lout it being the sole cause ot the swelling, as' can be testified by the man, whose health bas been perfectly restored. He is nbw able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the nut ior your Sydney M.D/s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, ie to iuform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of; the mysterious result.— Araluen Correaponden t. Manufactured by j. POTTIE, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. ' ,'SOLB AGENT FOR NELSON— LOUIS ROTHEE, (Late C. Habling) TRAFALGAR-STREET. 1396
