The Wallace sails for Wanganui to-night. The Murray arrived at Greymouth from Hokitika to-day. The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Bay this evening. The Taiaroa leaves Port Chalmers to-day. She'will arrive here on Saturday. The Alhambra was advertised to leave Melbourne for the Bluff to-day. The Charles Edward sailed for New Plymouth this afternoon, will return on Friday, and sail for Wellington on Saturday. Up to the time of our going to press there were no tidings of the Sau Francisco mail which is due at Auckland to-day. The schooner Awaroa arrived from Wanganni this morning, after a fair nassage across. The Taranaki has probably been detained for another day at Onehunga to await the arrival of the San Francisco mail, as she is not yet telegraphed as having left there. The Waratah, a handsome barque of 201 tons register, built at Hobarton in 1872, was in sight at an early hour this morning. The Lady Barkly was sent out to the barque, and she was towed iuto harbor and moored alongside the Commercial Wharf, Capt. Hiscox reports leaving Oamaru on the 27th ultimo, and experienced light variable winds until this morning, when a S.E. breeze sprang up, which brought the vessel into the bay. The Waratah brings a cargo of breadstuffs consigned to Messrs Neale and Haddow aud Messrs Sclanders and Co. She will commence discharging cargo to-morrow morning.
