The London papers are sanguine that the . Peace Congress will meet on the 11th June. It ia substantially confirmed that Bismarck will preside, and that the Marquis of Salisbury, Schouvaloff, and Andrassy will attend. The navy preparations at Chatham have been relaxed. There has been sharp and continuous fighting in South Africa, the British being generally successful.
