COURSING CLUB.
A meeting of the Club was held yesterday afternoon, when the following officers were appointed:— Mr Tovey, secretary; Mr Trask, treasurer; Mr Roberts, judge; Mr W. D. Harkness, flagman; Messrs J. Green and R Eden, slippers; Messrs J. Harley, T. Hunt, Little, and Trask stewards. The first meeting, which takes place next Monday, promises to be most successful, the number of entries being large for flo young an Association, and the quality of the dogs, if pedigree is any test, unexceptionable. At the conclusion of the day's sport the members of tbe Club and others will meet at dinner at the Star and Garter Hotel. The following are the entries:—Gold Cdp: E. B. Waring's La Belle v. R. Gray's Fly.
